​Hello, I'm Sonia Field and as a Health Coach my role is to empower people take back control of their wellbeing. I do this by sharing with you my practical knowledge and offering a personalised approach to help you discover what is best for you.
​
I am keen to explore with my clients an approach to “being healthy”. Do you know that your diet and lifestyle choices play a part in how you feel? This may sound obvious but many people don't necessarily see the links. We are bombarded with conflicting information and advice about what we should or shouldn’t be eating, how many steps to take daily, ensuring we exercise enough and how to manage stress. If all that isn’t stressful enough!

​I have had a healthy interest in good food, general health and wellbeing for many years. I have raised three children and I also supported and cared for my mother who had a rare neurological condition. I started to realise how our eating habits and lifestyle choices have a huge influence on our overall health. This led me to develop a strong interest in how the body works and how our diet and lifestyle effect our overall health.

​I qualified from the College of Naturopathic Medicine with a diploma in Naturopathic Health Coaching, I obtained a diploma in Nutrition in Culinary Practice at Leith’s culinary school, which further enhanced my enjoyment of cooking with fresh ingredients for a nutritionally balanced meal.
I also obtained a foundational certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling. Counselling gave me the opportunity to learn and further develop various skill which are vital in my coaching work.
My role is to actively listen to my clients, allowing them the time to express themselves freely.
I enjoy helping people or all ages whenever and wherever I can. I am active volunteer for local organisations that are close to my heart, mainly working with children, young people and the homeless.

Being a Health Coach is the ideal role for me, bringing together all I have learnt in recent years with plenty of life experience. I really enjoy finding better ways for individuals to improve their overall health and wellbeing.
