What is a Health Coach? How can I help?

As a Health Coach I understand how the body works.  Through guidance, motivation and support I help clients make long term changes for a better health outcome. I aim to be a facilitator for change.

 

Finding out about your physical health and emotional wellbeing helps build a picture of what health concerns you may have and how best to address them.  My goal is to empower clients to achieve their optimum health. 

Areas covered:

  • DIETARY - eating a nutritionally balanced diet, making the best choices when dining out, plus new items to put in your shopping basket.

  • LIFESTYLE - recognising when you need to take care of yourself.  How and when is best to do that.

  • PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES - maintaining an appropriate level of fitness by finding out what works well for you.

  • STRESS MANAGEMENT - recognising areas that may be causing you distress and finding how best to cope and reduce the impact.

  • SLEEP - how to improve your quality of sleep which is vital to achieving good health.

I’m a firm believer that taking things one small step at a time leads to bigger and better outcomes.

What you can expect.
  • Initial session is 60 minutes where we go through a questionnaire about your health and lifestyle.

  • I help you focus on what you would like to have as achievable goals in a time frame that is appropriate.

  • My approach is client-led which means I listen to you and remain open-minded and non-judgemental.

  • My role is to empower you to bring about the changes you wish for yourself.

  • You will receive a personalised action plan setting out your goals and intentions.

  • I can offer other resources for those who wish to further their understanding in a particular area, eg inflammation, gut health etc.

  • A free ebook as a welcome gift.

  • I offer various packages depending on individual requirements. Prices start at £75.
